My Meta Goblin print JSK came! On Wednesday! But I only picked it up yesterday! 'cause the postman didn't knock and I had to sign for it!

Um.. so.. I went ahead and bought this JSK.
And I wonder why I have no money?
Now I just have to find a white blouse and I'll be all set. Preferably not brand, though. God knows I don't want to spend $80-$90 on the blouse.
In other news, my toads ate a TON tonight. They were pigs. Is it weird that I'm thrilled? They hardly ever eat - or if they do, I rarely see it - so feeding them one by one, 5/6 crickets for the girl, and then about the same for the boy? I'm happy. At least I know they're full. I had to stop though, since I don't know if they can eat themselves dead.

So Andrew and I are going to look at the dogs PetSmart has for adoption tomorrow. And try to find one he thinks his mom would like, bring her (preferably her) to his house, let his mom fall in love with her, and then commend ourselves on a job well done.
In all seriousness though, his mom wants a dog, she just doesn't want to admit it. That's where we step in.
And it gives me an excuse to play with them.

I have to leave for class in a few minutes. YAY for Chemistry PLTL where the effing girl doesn't even know what she's doing or how much we know. She's all, "DO QUESTIONS BLAHBLAHBLAH." And we're all, "Um.. we didn't learn this yet." To which she responds with, "Oh. Okay. Then just do this one that you do know and you can leave."
I think I'm more excited to see the dogs than Andrew.
But the fact that I reeaally want a spring/summery lolita dress but have to pay car insurance is bringing me down. Most expensive clothes ever.

Pittsburgh was good times.
Went to the Carnegie Science Center, the zoo, Heinz field, and a bunch of other places. I won't elaborate, 'cause I'll be typing all night.
I bought this three drawer storage.. thing from my job today, in an attempt to un-clutter my room. And I proceeded to fill it with shit that wasn't in my room to begin with. I fail.
Andrew is coming tomorrow. Eeeeee!

Andrew came over on the 14th and 15th.
When he got to my dad's house, we decided the first thing we wanted to do was attempt to dye the leggings and turtleneck for my costume. But we didn't have a bucket or gloves. So we headed out to Drug Fair for them, and then to Wendy's, 'cause neither of us had eaten. So we got food and he got a Baconator for later in the day. We got back and he turned on crazy music. He had BBMack on his laptop. xD
So we dyed the clothes - a bit unsuccessfully because it spotted - and then went to work on actual costume. Cut the pieces out and sewed them together. Then the helmet.
This helmet involved lots of spray paint, duct tape and newspaper. We had to do it outside of the apartment complex, and people gave us lots of weird looks. xD Talked for a while in between sprays, and then found out at the end that it dripped between the newspaper sections we had divided. So then we had to scratch it off, and THEN we found out we sprayed too close to the visor and had to scratch that off, and we didn't angle some of the lines enough. xD;
We decided that it looked awfully ugly after the orange was scraped off. So we needed white spray paint. And we wanted to make the heart out of foam and go to the Rag Shop and see if they had any white fabric left. So we headed back to Hazlet. xD;
Went to Michael's and got the spray paint and foam and met this girl Cindy I used to go to high school with. Rag Shop was unsuccessful. My mom wanted to meet him though, so we stopped over there.
Then, in a moment of genius, my mom suggested I take a box of macaroni and cheese for dinner. And then Andrew offered to make it from SCRATCH! So naturally, I went with that. We stopped at Pathmark and ended up getting cheese, heavy cream, chicken and broccoli. xD;
OMG He's amazing in the kitchen. Which sort of sounds dirty, but I've never had that good of macaroni and cheese before. xD
We cleaned up and bummed around for a bit until Darren called us and told us he was home. Then I drove Andrew there and went back home.
The next day, I called Andrew at 10.45, 'cause he said for me to call him sometime between 10.30 and 11.00. He needed more time to sleep. xD; So he called back like an hour later and I picked him up.
My dad wasn't feeling too well, so we moved camp back to my mom's. We finished up the helmet and ordered food for.. brunch. Ate the food, then worked on the costume some more. I hemmed a few things and he attached the cape. We then went into my basement and worked on some of the poses. It's scary when you do things that involve falling backwards and hoping someone catches you. o_o;
Anyway, we cleaned up and then he decided he wanted sushi. xD; So we went to Shogun and I got to try it! It's definitely strange.. and it has odd textures. But we had California Rolls, Salmon Rolls and Dragon Rolls. And then fried ice cream! xD
I drove us back to my dad's and he decided he wanted to help me find a recital song for December. An anime song. A.. Japanese anime song. So we narrowed it down to a couple, "1000 Words" from FFX-2, "True Light" from DNAngel, and "Crisis Thesis Angel" from Evangelion.
He went home at roughly.. 10.50, and he called me right before I got in to my house. We talked for about an hour, and then at 2.30, he called to help me translate some symbols we found on sheet music from the songs we picked. xD; And talked until about 5.00.
I definitely have the best time ever when he's involved.

Today was the best day I've had in a while. By far.
Woke up around 7:30, showered, got stuff together, and then picked Darren up by like 9:30 for Philadelphia. It was Andrew's birthday. :D He's 20~
There was hardly any traffic on the roads, so we got to the NJ Turnpike alright. We got into the trucks only lane, though, so that was exciting. xD; Whoops. Other than that, the ride was uneventful. It honestly couldn't have been any easier. I did have one of those.. car adapters for my portable CD player, and a cassette thingie that plugged into the headphone port on the CD player to the cassette player, so we could hear it. xD; I lack a CD player in my car.
We got to the mall alright, and got inside to wait for Andrew. Darren put on his Merchant from RE4 costume, and went out to say hi to Andrew like that. xD; He started walking away, but eventually stopped. xD;
Anyway, we got in and walked through the mall to the food court, and Darren went to bother a big.. cow mascot thing. And asked it, "Whataya buyin'?" and "Whataya sellin'?"
I got a movie of it, but I'm not sure you can hear him with the background noise.
Anyway, we got food - chicken teriyaki, which was amazing - and Andrew got chicken strips. Something seems backwards.. Chinese kid eating what we usually eat.. and us eating Chinese food? xD;
Then we went to see what was playing at the movie theater, and got tickets for The Simpsons Movie. We then went to this arcade and played ITG and.. ITG. We left when it was time to see the movie.
Oh god, it was so funny. xD;
After that, we went back to the arcade to play a bit more, and then we followed Andrew back to his house. I swear, the lights on the road to get there are horrible. There are SO many of them and they're ever more poorly timed than NJ lights. People were even selling waters on the dividers. xD;
We eventually got there and I had to parallel park into a spot. I'm all, "LOLWHUT?" I failed parallel parking during my driving test. And we never need it in NJ. xD; But Andrew helped me into it.
Andrew gave us a semi-tour of his house and we just sat around there and he played RE4 that Darren gave him for his birthday. He got to the Merchant part and we got to hear him ask, "Whataya buyin'?" and everything else he says. Andrew gave me a massage-type-thing when I started dozing off on his couch. xD; It was the first one I've ever had that I didn't start laughing because of how ticklish I am.
We left after a while and went to eat at the Old Country Buffet. Lmao I basically got macaroni and cheese.
Afterwards, we went bowling and played three games. xD My first game sucked, but the second one I got a 113 and I think like a.. 106 the last one. Andrew's arm started hurting though, so that was bad. D:
The way back was.. slightly eventful. My low fuel light came on so we had to stop at a service area for gas. I told the man twenty, but he just filled it. @-@ Whatever.
When we got on 18, we passed by this rather huge accident that had just happened. There was glass everywhere, a body on the ground with an EMT over it, a firetruck, an ambulance, and a few more were going there after I dropped Darren off.
Oi.
Overall, I wouldn't trade this day for anything.

So yeah.
Today started out promising enough, when I had to wake up at 6.45 for my three hour modding shift on Misticpets. But it was uneventful and I pretty much ended up cleaning up my dad's apartment while I checked on things once in a while.
Andrew got there around.. 10.40ish, and he discovered that this great wireless mat that I bought (that slips, despite the slip-proof promise) actually requires four AA batteries. Despite also having a thingie that plugs into the controller port that I assumed was enough for the mat. Apparently not.
We played a bit of DDR before heading out to AC Moore's in hopes to find fabric. They don't sell fabric there. Or spray paint, for that matter. So the Rag Shop back where I live was the next closest place, barring the Ghetto*Mart that is North Brunswick's Wal*Mart. I will not step foot in there again.
So we drove up there, and I discovered that they're going out of business. Everything was cheap - got the blue and orange fabric at a discount price, but where the hell do I go to buy fabric now? xD;
Stopped in at Michael's on the way back for the spray paints and craft foam.
We then drove to my house, stopped in, fed my toadies, and I grabbed a granola bar and downed it in like three seconds.
Then we drove back to my dad's, dropped the stuff off, and headed to the mall. Played a bit more DDR on the mall's shitty DDR machines, went to Payless, met up with Darren (someone Andrew knows and someone I apparently went to high school for four months with o.O), and decided that we didn't want to see the Simpson's Movie as originally planned. We would rather play on GOOD DDR machines at some sport's place.
So we went there instead. Hung around there for a while, goofed off, attempted to play Hungry Hungry Hippos, failed, and went to my dad's after a few more games. Darren thought it would be pretty cool to film us in the car.. so he did. xD
Went to hibachi afterwards, where I filmed Darren catching one of like.. four or five pieces of food flung at him, in his mouth. xD;;
Went back to my dad's, played more DDR, played with my doggy, watched things on YouTube, got measurements taken, and talked about hentai. o.o
Andrew drove back around 9.30, and I drove Darren home then, too.
Work tomorrow from 10-5 kinda sucks. D:

So what's everyone doing on September 1st?
If you're free, you should totally go to a cosplay picnic at Mercer County Park, starting at 11am to.. whenever the park closes. Probably sunset?
It's mostly for people in the NJ/PA/NY area, but hey, if you feel like traveling, be my guest. xD
Cosplaying isn't mandatory, but if you want to dress up, then alright. I probably will be. @-@
It's in the picnic area, and please bring your own stuff. xD; It's not very organized.

So the last Harry Potter book comes out tonight at midnight and I'm closing at work. There's a Barnes and Noble RIGHT next to the Linens'n'Things, so I think I'm waiting there for like.. a bit more than an hour to get my book. Like hell will I go home and get it tomorrow.
Besides, I can get some major reading time in between 12.30 and 2pm - when I go in to work tomorrow. Hah.

So I'm pretty bored and waiting for my staff account at Misticpets to be made and sent to me. Which opens tomorrow~! AHHbfdgbdklghrd. FINALLY. +geeks out+
I've decided to update some stuff.
So I sort of met a Saiyaman cosplayer at AnimeNEXT. We took his picture. He IM'd me after the convention and we've been talking for a while. He convinced me to go to AnimeUSA and Katsucon as Saiyaman 2 (Saiyawoman), and I've convinced him to make a Gene Starwind costume. I'm also whipping up a normal-Videl costume, for any of you who watch/know of DBZ. Let me tell you, leggings suck no matter what your legs look like.
After work on Sunday, I went over to Megan's house. I tried to get there before 7.00 to go to Goodwill, but that didn't happen. We went to IHOP instead, and then we attempted driving to this ghetto Wal*Mart in like.. New Brunswick. We got lost, drove into the Rutgers area, drove BACK towards East Brunswick, flipped around, and finally made it there. Lost in NB? Ugh. We made it home alright, though.
The next morning, we woke up fairly early, she taught me how to play Liar's Dice - I schooled her, we played Backgammon as we ate breakfast, and then we played Ninja Burger - she schooled me at both.
We went to Goodwill first, attempted to find leggings and a pink/purple t-shirt. We failed. Then we headed to the mall. Um.. I bought a pair of black leggings, which I ended up replacing last night with something better from Amazon.com. Then we picked up Helen and got ice cream.
After that, we drove to Jill's in Highland Park, NOT getting lost. Though the directions we used were questionable, and were from the same place the Wal*Mart directions were from. Got to Jill's house okay.
The first thing we did was walk to Quick Check for snacks and drinks. She only had like.. root beer and a ton of little water bottles. We then played her Wii and got to make little Mii characters. Played bowling, tennis, boxing and some other.. knowledge game. Megan played Cooking Mama too. Her friend Ted (I think that's his name?) came over around mid-day and we went online with her Wii and watched Youtube stuff. Then we ate the food her mom and dad cooked and decided to see 1408.
The drive there was okay - not getting lost - and the movie itself was actually pretty good. Weird, but good. Going back, Jill apparently didn't know about the construction that was going on for two months, so we had to wing it to get back to her house. I was driving, so all was good. xD;
We got back, Ted had to go back home, and we watched some Outlaw Star, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and we rented Pan's Labyrinth, which was also good. Went to sleep soon after.
Helen woke up the next morning before us since she had to catch a bus at an earlier time, and we all woke up later and ate food. Watched some MadTV for a bit, then Megan and I left.
We got hopelessly lost going home. We pulled into the Rutgers area again and this time.. got even more lost. xD; We stopped and she called her dad and we got out of there. Google Maps has gotten us lost twice in less than 48 hours.
I got Megan home, she gave me money for gas because her maps got us lost, and then I went home.
